Project Link of South Florida mission is to provide quality prevention education, direct client services, HIV/STD counseling/testing, linkage to HIV medical care, as well as addressing treatment and medication adherence to those individuals at-risk for and/or infected with HIV/AIDS.
Project Link of South Florida is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit community base organization. Since 2005, Project Link has provided services in South Florida to the African American, Caucasian, Hispanic and Asian, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, queer (LGBTQ) Community. Project Link of South Florida is managed by individuals living with HIV who are all volunteers fulfilling the unique mission to provide quality prevention education, direct client servces, HIV testing, linkage to HIV medical care, as well as addressing treatment, and medication adherence to those individuals at-risk for and/or infected with HIV/AIDS.
The goal is to provide hope and compassion for all those in-need of our services. Staff and Volunteers at Project Link work very hard in the community to provide access and linkage to HIV care for those individuals in need of them. Some HIV positive people living in the LGBTQ Community in South Florida are still living without the necessary services and medications that are readily available to them. We also seek to reduce the HIV, Hepatitis, and other STD transmission rates to the negative, at risk populations as well as provide a safe and secure environment for the LGBTQ youth. Our staff and volunteers are professional certified HIV counselors, who care about the lives of the people they help.
